Jenna and Zack: Engaged

This was another one of those sessions where I just press the button and stay out of the way. Jenna and Zack have such a natural, romantic mood about them. And they really cranked up the romance when we found a quiet little stairwell in downtown Champaign.

Jenna asked for a “vintage” look for some of the photos, so I tried out a few different looks.

Bethany & Zach: Married

Now that we’re in the snowy doldrums of February, I feel like it’s a good time to go back and post some fair weather work. This is Bethany and Zach, who were married in October. I love shooting outdoor weddings because of the way they take on the look and feel of the surrounding environment.

Anyway, on to pics. And check out my website at http://www.FrasurePhotography.com

Frasure Photography at Farren’s Restaurant

In order to update their restaurant for 2010, Carolyn, owner of Farren’s, graciously asked me to put some of my photography work up on the walls.

What a great opportunity for me!

So all the pictures you now see at Farren’s restaurant are my work. It’s my personal work, not any wedding work.

If you’re not familiar, Farren’s is easily the best restaurant in Champaign/Urbana. Great food, great wine and a great staff that will make sure you get exactly what you want. They really care about the quality of their food and go to great lengths to buy only the best local meats and produce.

A few prints that are on the walls:

Kati & Dan: Married

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Bride’s and Groom’s family and friends so happy to see two people get married. Kati and Dan had so many people in attendance who had clearly been waiting to celebrate this occasion with them.  Of course, Kati and Dan were more than happy to share their celebration.

Caitlin and John: Engaged

I had the chance to shoot an engagement session with Caitlin and John in 10 inches of snow yesterday. A session like this just proves how easy my job can be- I just put fun, energetic people who love each other a ton in front of the camera and press the button. Having a winter wonderland to play in doesn’t hurt either. Good thing those snowballs were made from powder…

Mindy & Erik: Married

Mindy and Erik’s wedding is a great reminder that you don’t need a sun-filled June day to look and feel fantastic. Their chemistry is so strong that even an empty church feels like an intimate setting. And they definitely know how to throw a party- and how to enjoy it, too. Here are a few favorites from their day:
